Kullur Sandhai : It is 6 kms from Virudhunagar. It is a Reservoir. Tourism Department has declared this sandhai as a District Excursion Centre. Steps have been initiated to improve the park with play equipment for the children too. Town Buses operate from Virudhunagar to visit this dam.

Satchipuram CSI Church : It is 3 Kms from Sivakasi. This is a 150 years old CSI Church built by the C.M.S. missionaries in the year 1861. It is a famous church in the area and pilgrims visit the church regularly.

Ayyanar Falls : It is 12 Kms from Rajapalyam. A temple dedicated to Ayyanar is being visited by scores of visitors. The falls is in the dense forest area skirted by natural beauty and cascades rushing from a height of 15 feet adds attraction to this area.

Irukkankudi :  It is 8 kms from Sattur. Irukkangudi Mariamman Temple, believed to be 500 years old, is a very popular temple of this area. River Arjunan from the Northern Side and Vaipparu River from southern side meets at this place where Devi Mariamman resides and blesses the devotees. There are many legends and one among them says : Goddess Mariamman in the temple is Swayambhu – meaning she appeared on her own. Aadi festival in [Jul-Aug] is the main festival of this temple. Pilgrims will have to cross the river Arjuna on foot to reach the Temple.

Muthaliar Oothu : Muthaliar Oothu is down the ridge on the northern part of Srivilliputhur Reserve Forest. Apart from the exotic views of the Northern Sattur, it is encompassed by Khansapuram Vathiraruppu and Pudupatti. Wild elephant herds can be seen very often in this forest zone. Barking Deer and Panthers are seen occasionally. Other Wild life includes Wild Pig, Spotted Deer and Sambar too.

Vathiraruppu : It is 18 kms from Srivilliputtur, 4000 ft high and located on the south of Western Ghats. Well connected by different modes of transport. This village is in the deeper side of the fossil valley and Arjuna river flows by its side. Nallathangal story is most popular of the South Indian Ballad here. The well in which Nallathangal drowned herself and the temple can be seen here.
