Bhavani : The Sangameshwarar Temple at Bhavani is located at the confluence of rivers Bhavani , Kaveri and ‘Agaya Gangai’ [ invisible water source]. This is also called as the Triveni [confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswathy river-Allahabad] of the south. Legend Says : William Garrow the then Collector of Coimbatore worshiped the Goddess Vedanayaki regularly. One Night, Goddess appeared in his dream and asked him to vacate the Bungalow. Immediately after moving out the house it collapsed. To show his gratitude, he donated an ivory cradle with his signature. The same can be seen even today in the Temple.

Vaidehi fall: It is located 35 Kms from Coimbatore and the nearest village is Narasimhapuram. It is also called as Narasimhapuram Falls. This waterfall used to be called "Tholayiram Murthi Kandi". In Tamil: Tholayiram = 900, Murthy = Lord or Manifestations, Kandam[ water pot of Ascetic]. Though it is a popular tourist spot, it falls short of transport facilities. Appearance of Wild Animals also have prevented the authorities permitting tourists to this area.

thirupurTiruppur : It is located on the banks of Noyyal River, 50 kms from the City of Coimbatore. It is known as the "knitwear capital" which accounts for 90% of India's cotton knitwear export. It has spurred up the textile industry in India for the past three decades and provides nearly 6,00,000 jobs. Special Industrial Parks have been developed in Tirupur. Exports recorded as US $ 3.2 billion for the period 2014-15.

Bethesda International Prayer Center : It is 25 kms from the City, amidst the Siruvani Hills. Bethesda International Prayer Center was established by Dr.G.S.Dinakaran. The area was named as Karunya Nagar. The prayer center is surrounded with hills, waterfalls, green pastures and rivulets which provides peaceful atmosphere for prayer and meditation. It has an artistically designed Dome too. Accommodation facility is available for visitors to stay overnight.
